Dave Chappelle will perform three shows at Nate Jackson's Super Funny Comedy Club on Pacific Avenue this week, the downtown Tacoma venue announced Monday, Oct. 5.
The five-time Emmy-winning comedian is scheduled for an 8 p.m. show Wednesday, Oct. 7, and two shows Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Both the Wednesday and early Thursday shows are sold out, The Tacoma News Tribune reported.
Tickets for the late Thursday show were listed at just under $180 each, including taxes and fees. The News Tribune reported those tickets were still available Monday afternoon, but the TicketWeb event page showed the listing as sold out as of Monday. Prospective buyers should check superfunnycomedyclub.com for the latest availability.
The club, at 1530 Pacific Ave., posted the news on Instagram, telling followers the announcement was real and that tickets were going on sale at 3 p.m. The post drew more than 1,800 likes and 219 comments.
All three shows are 21 and older. Guests must purchase at least two items in the showroom. Seating is general admission, first-come, first-served, with exceptions for groups and premium booths. Doors for the 10 p.m. Thursday show open at 9:30 p.m.
No physical tickets will be issued. Attendees must bring a valid photo ID matching the name on the reservation. All mobile phones will be locked in Yondr pouches during the performance, and ticket resale is strictly prohibited, according to the TicketWeb listing.
Chappelle last performed in Tacoma at the Tacoma Dome with Joe Rogan in 2019. His most recent Netflix special, "Dave Chappelle: The Unstoppable," came out in 2025. It was his eighth with the streaming service, Rolling Stone reported.
The club was founded by Tacoma native Nate Jackson, a comedian who also hosts the annual Super Funny Comedy Festival downtown. The venue sits in the heart of Tacoma's Pacific Avenue corridor, about five blocks south of the Tacoma Dome.
