Sergio C. Flores is seeking Tacoma Municipal Court Position 2 in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. Pierce County's official sample ballot lists no opponent in the nonpartisan race.

On his campaign website, Flores says the Tacoma City Council unanimously appointed him on Jan. 6 to replace retiring Judge Drew Henke. He says the appointment lasts through the end of the year and that he is running to retain the seat.

Flores describes gaining trial experience and working as a judge pro tempore before his appointment. His campaign says he helped develop an Auburn therapeutic program connecting people with substance-use problems to treatment. He presents collaboration and procedural justice as priorities for the municipal court.

In his statement in the official county voters' pamphlet, Flores lists a bachelor's degree from Seattle University and a law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He says he wants to strengthen diversion and therapeutic programs while holding people accountable. Those priorities are the candidate's statements, rather than independently measured outcomes.
