Kevin A. McCann is seeking Pierce County District Court Position 1 in the Nov. 3, 2026, general election. Pierce County's official sample ballot lists him without an opponent in the nonpartisan race.

McCann has served on the district court since 2013, according to his official county biography. Before taking the bench, he spent 17 years at the Pierce County Prosecutor's Office, including supervision of felony drug and property-crime units.

The biography also lists 12 years as a judge pro tempore in Federal Way, Thurston County and Olympia. It describes instruction at Washington's Judicial College from 2016 to 2019 and leadership of the district court's public-outreach committee.

McCann's law degree and bachelor's degree in political science are from Gonzaga University, according to the county page.

His listed community service includes tutoring Tacoma public-school students, serving as a trustee for a transitional-housing program and volunteering as a youth sports coach.
