Tacoma Defiance host Colorado Rapids 2 at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila on Sunday, July 26, riding a two-match winning streak into their first home game in weeks.

Kickoff is 7 p.m. PT, and tickets are $10, according to Experience Tukwila.

The streak started with a 1-0 road win over San Jose Earthquakes II on Sunday, July 12, at the Quakes' Monterey Bay venue, then grew with a 4-2 victory over Real Monarchs at Zions Bank Stadium in Sandy, Utah, on Sunday, July 19. The final score against the Monarchs was confirmed by TheSportsDB.

The July 12 shutout showcased Defiance at their scrappy best. Midfielder Xavi Gnaulati scored the lone goal in the 81st minute off a free kick, placing his shot into the far corner after Mark Bronnik rolled the ball to his right.

It was a homecoming for Gnaulati, who spent two years at Monterey Bay FC before joining Tacoma.

Goalkeeper Max Anchor made five saves that night, including a diving stop off a free kick in the 51st minute. Defiance held just 33% possession in the first half but limited Earthquakes II to five shots, according to Sounder at Heart.

Bronnik's return to the starting lineup proved decisive. He drew the foul that led to Gnaulati's winner after missing the previous match.
